Absentee Bid Policy

ABSENTEE BIDS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 12:00 NOON ON FRI. PRIOR TO AUCTION

Dawn Auction Co. Inc. Absentee Policy

  1. We will describe the item to be sold to the best of our knowledge; however, it is being sold “As Is”.
  2. We do not charge a “buyer’s premium”, however, we have to charge a 10% handling fee (loading, storing, mailing) for absentee bid items.
  3. To place the bid we need a credit card with all appropriate information.
  4. We do not accept credit cards for payment of merchandise, it is just to confirm bid.
  5. We will advise buyer within three days if they are the successful bidder. We will then ship the item to the buyer upon receipt of payment (in case of personal check when it clears the bank) or make arrangements for the buyer to pick up the item.
  6. Buyer is to pay shipping and insurance costs if item(s) have to be mailed.
  7. We do not start the bidding at your top price. We place your bid in the increments they are going until the bidding stops or we have reached your maximum.
  8. Bids need to be made via e-mail or fax with the absentee bid form.
